- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I am a Registered Nurse was recently a patient in the detox unit. I was appalled. First of all the staff is very cold, uncaring, unsympathetic, and emotionally abusive. I was in for alcohol detox. The detox protocol was fine, but absolutely no emotional support. I entered this facility voluntarily for help and was told I could be Baker acted. I was terrified for the 6 days I was there. I witnessed unprofessional behavior by the nursing staff and unsanitary conditions in various areas of the unit. My husband called to speak to someone in regards to my treatment and was never called back. My roommate suffered acute abdominal pain for 2 days before being taken to a hospital. I was told by a RN to stir my medication with my finger. Was given no spoon or stirrer. Phones to call out were rancid with stench, never disinfected after patient use. I could go on and on. My husband and I will take further action to expose this place for what it is. PLEASE do not go here!!February 27, 2017by Michele Falduti
